All are invited to include the Sunday morning Adult Faith Formation sessions into your new year’s routine.  Please join in the school library immediately following the 8:30 am Mass. 

We are collecting last year’s palm branches that were blessed on Palm Sunday to make our ashes for Ash Wednesday.  All are welcome to bring your blessed palms to the church next weekend, January 21st, and we will have a place assigned for them outside the Church throughout the week.  The burning ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, January 27th following the 4pm Vigil Mass for anyone interested. 

Our School will be hosting Open House on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.  Please see the informative insert in the bulletin and help us spread the word!

OLL is in need of more adult volunteers for the Children’s Liturgy of the Word Ministry.  Please contact the rectory if you would like to help.

We are gearing up for the St. Joseph Altar which will be held on Sunday, March 18th.  Next weekend we will be collecting Flour.  Please place your donations in the garbage tins in the vestibule or in the one located by the front door of the rectory.  Thank you!

The Blood Mobile will be in the church parking lot Sunday morning from 7:30 am until 1:00 pm.  If you are able to donate, please take some time and give the gift of life to someone in need! You can make a difference!

Father Peter Hammett, a priest at the Abbey, has written a book entitled “The Trinity in the Life of the Church: Discovering the Dynamic Love of God.”  The Abbey will benefit from each book that is sold.  Flyers can be found on the table with more information.

The second collection today is for the Friends of St. Anthony Ministry.  We would like to thank the parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes for their generosity over the past years enabling us to help those individuals and families who live in our neighborhood and are in need of assistance.

7:30 am to 1:00 pm.  The Blood Mobile will be in the church parking lot.  Please eat a good meal before donating and bring a valid ID.  YOU can SAVE a LIFE!

OLL is in need of more adult volunteers for the Children’s Liturgy of the Word Ministry.  Feel free to come to the Children’s Liturgy next Sunday, January 14th during 10:30 am Mass to see what this Ministry offers to the children of our parish. 

The Rosary will NOT be said on Thursday, January 13th at the statue on the corner of Westchester and Berkley. We will pick up again in May.

Please consider signing up to participate in the Vocations Chalice Program.  The sign up book with program details is in the vestibule.

The St. Tammany Right to Life organization is having a breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, January 13th.  Please see the flyer in the bulletin for more information.
