We invite you to participate in the vocation chalice program where you can use the chalice as a centerpiece of prayer for a week to pray for an increase in vocations.  The program will run through Lent.  There is a sign-up book in the vestibule.

The “Little Rock Scripture Study” continues on Monday, March 18th

Due to lack of interest, the Pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Alabama has been cancelled.

Father Paysse is happy to announce the 2019 recipients of the St. Louis Medallion Award; Jan & John Theriot and Ms. Iris Calogero.  This award is the highest honor any Catholic can receive from the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

Father Paysse is also pleased to announce our 2019 Altar Server of the year – Louis Veillion III.

This coming weekend will be very exciting with our Annual Bayou Bash!  We invite everyone to come one, two or all three days!  Good Music, good food and fun for all.  The Men’s club will be serving fried fish and other seafood dishes on Friday.  Please note that the 8:30 am morning Mass will be in the chapel due to the race before the opening of the fair.

St. Tammany Right to Life is offering a $500 Scholarship to a high school Senior living in St. Tammany to be used for any institution of higher learning, including a trade school.  See the bulletin for details.  Applications must be postmarked by March 30th

Our Lenten Mission entitled “Simply Live” starts on Sunday, March 31st.  Rev. George Knab is a priest of the Missionary Oblates and will be the leader of the mission.  We invite and encourage everyone to come on Sunday the 31st at 7:00 pm in the church.  Please see the bulletin insert for the schedule.

Our monthly Grief Ministry Meeting is Monday, March 11th at 6:30 pm in the PLC.

We have The Little Black Lenten Books available in the vestibule.

This weekend is “Safe Haven Sunday.”  It is a way to bring awareness to you and your children about the internet dangers as well as the challenges of their personal choices when they are online.  In the vestibule, we have some Safe Haven Prayer cards as well as a small book entitled: Confident – Helping Parents Navigate Online Exposure. 

A letter from the Archbishop is also available in the vestibule.

We will be hosting the “Little Rock Scripture Study” starting on March 11th.  Please see the bulletin for details.

The 1st Men’s Club Fish Fry is this Friday, March 15th from 5 to 8 pm in the gym.  Dine in or drive thru.  Menu includes fried fish, fried shrimp, baked fish topped with sautéed shrimp, each served with crab-boiled smashed potatoes, salad, roll and dessert. Prices vary.  Cheese pizza slices & drinks available.

Our St. Joseph Altar is next Saturday, March 16th from 12 Noon to 6:00 pm.  On the day of the Altar we will need meatless casserole dishes.  We also need green beans, in the large containers if possible. 

The 8:30 am MORNING mass on Saturday, March 23rd is moved to the chapel due to the race before the opening of the fair.
